WHAT KIND OF BAGS ARE USED?
My bags are made of 100% cotton and dye-free canvas, combining quality, ecology, and functionality to provide a sustainable bag, good to stand out for years to come. They are simple and strong and about as down to earth as you can get!
CAN THE BAGS BE WASHED?
The bags can be machine washed and dried, however I recommend only spot cleaning or handwashing and laying flat to dry to maintain the integrity of the bag. The bags are sturdy and bright, and washing them will make the bag floppier and speed up the fading process. Included with every bag is my handmade “bag tag” with care instructions recommending to hand wash and lay flat to dry!
IS THE ARTWORK SCREENPRINTED?
No. Each and every single bag that comes from Fly Away Designs is 100% hand drawn in a permanent ink and individually thought out. I custom design and select ‘words of wisdom’ for my bags with an eye for craftsmanship, creativity, and that certain something that makes each bag I make not just a novelty, but a personal discovery.

HOW WILL I KNOW THAT MY ORDER WAS ACCEPTED?
After I receive your order, I will send an e-mail confirmation including an order number to the e-mail address provided when the order was placed.
HOW CAN I CHANGE OR CANCEL MY ORDER?
Please call me at 512.968.4781 as soon as possible to either change or cancel your order. As long as I haven’t started on the item or gotten to that part, I will be happy to help you!
WHEN WILL I BE CHARGED?
Once I receive your order, I submit payment the following business day. You will only be charged for your order with tax included, plus shipping.
HOW LONG BEFORE I RECEIVE MY ORDER?
I allow myself two weeks to complete and mail out each order I receive. When I send out the confirmation email I do my best to include an accurate arrival date, but please be aware that in rare circumstances I may be a day or two off. I do experience busy times of the year in which case I allow myself 3 weeks for orders. Those times include the months of November/December and April/May.
If your order is needed sooner than my quoted date, please call me at 512.968.4781 to make arrangements.
GIFT WRAP OPTIONS
Let me take care of the wrapping! For an $8 charge, your gift will be wrapped in tissue and placed in a white paper gift bag that has a unique doodle on each side complete with a ribbon attached to the handle. It is the perfect complement to a unique gift!

HOW WILL MY ORDER BE SHIPPED AND HOW MUCH WILL I BE CHARGED?
Most orders I ship out within a day of completing the order (although I do not ship Saturdays, Sundays, or holidays). Your order will be shipped via standard shipping unless you request an alternative method. Once it is shipped, orders are generally received within 3-5 business days.
I will happily ship orders to all US states and territories, APO/FPO addresses, United Kingdom and Canadian addresses. Any orders sent outside the US require additional shipping charges. Orders shipped to APO/FPO, Alaska, Hawaii and US territories addresses will ship via USPS Priority Mail and cannot be expedited.

Returns and exchanges
WHAT IS YOUR RETURN POLICY?
I hope that you will love what you ordered but if something doesn't work out, please contact me right away so I can offer my best solution. Fly Away Designs will gladly accept any orders in their original condition with no personalization for a credit in the same amount as the original purchase. Unfortunately I cannot offer free shipping for returns and exchanges.
When returning an item, please pack it in a secure package or reuse the original packaging and enclose a new order form or a note explaining why it is being returned. I will process your return immediately and send you an email confirming that your return or exchange has been processed. Your refund will be sent back in the form of a Fly Away Designs Gift Card.

HOW DO I RETURN A GIFT?
If you received a gift from someone, as long as it is in its original condition with no personalization, a gift card will be issued for the amount of the item(s) and mailed to you. Please have the gift givers full name and contact information if you have it handy.

CAN I BUY A GIFT CARD?
A Fly Away Designs Gift Card will be sure to make someone smile! Gift Cards may be purchased for any amount and can be mailed directly to the gift recipient via USPS First Class Mail and are issued in US dollars. Please allow seven business days for delivery.
WHAT IF I LOSE MY GIFT CARD?
Fly Away Designs is unable to reissue Gift Cards that have been lost or stolen. Sorry!
