Welcome to FlyAwayDesigns.com! My name is Jordan Hoppe (like happy but with a “hop” sound!). I just recently moved from my beloved arts and crafts capital, Austin, Texas, to a new town you may have heard of… San Antonio! Which I must say, is equally as fun and entertaining! Minus the cool music venues and fun boutiques ;-)

I like to make things, daydream, play with my kids, and occasionally get away from the kids! Sing, dance, travel, go to shows, shop (quite a bit), get involved in my community, and do what I can to make the world a better place! I seek out beauty, love and daily inspiration and try to keep myself surrounded in those elements. Just don’t catch me on a bad day! Overall I am just a girl with an imagination! Now that I have let you into my whole entire universe, let’s get to business!

Fly Away Designs started off with me just wanting to have a cute diaper bag for my son- something that was out of the norm from the typical camouflage or Beatrix Potter bag that serves no purpose once the diapers are gone. From there I made cutesy reusable grocery bags in hopes to spark inspiration of green thinking in others! Unexpectedly, I got quite a response from my fellow shoppers, and now I love what I do! I combine practical function, youthful appearance and daily motivation with my eclectically designed "doodlebags."

I have decided that there is just too much in the world to be happy about! I want to branch away from the trends and remember how wonderful it is to be different. Please join me as I continue my commitment to peace, love and one-of-a-kind "doodlebags."
